In my opinion, your first options were great workarounds!
That's not what I had in mind when I said "one horn" but they definetely did have one horn!
So I would say they are A-ok.

Next challenge: Use a plain colored background.

The base is a plain background but I'm actually not sure if I still qualify having added some stuff on top of it ?

Yes, having more items over the plain background works!
I probably would not use a plain bg unless I had some other stuff over it...

(I don't own any obi so I may pass on this one right now, and work on something for the CC contest instead )

I don't have any of the obi items, so I settled for just an outfit with an obi on it

Next challenge:
RAINBOW TIME: Use at least 7 different colors!

*cracks knuckles*

I used Pastel Pink, Peach, Lemon, Mint, Aqua, Lilac and Gray White. There's also some Bright Berry on the skin I used.

It's March. Use 5 different shades of green.

green, emerald, lime green with a hint of light, jade and leaf !

I don't have any flowers in my garden as the dogs like to dig them up ^^

Maybe I'm cheating with the Hyades Tears.

Use a skin item that overlays on top of your skin. I'm not talking tattoos; I'm talking items such as Skin Snowflakes or Lynx Spots.

To make sure the lynx spots were visible, I used way less clothes than I usually do.
