Well. they try not to delete unused accounts, but about 3 or 4 years ago, they switched servers, and a lot of old accounts were purged then. I was lucky- I was able to find my account in tact.

Usually accounts get deactivated for inactivtity.
If that happens you'll receive and e-mail. But you can reactivate it again.

My account wasn't as lucky as Rehgai. My account had been deactivated, and it drove me to return briefly. I am working on emptying my account and then having it properly deactivated. I have a weird issue with it being deleted without my consent (But I get why. Don't worry Admin, I'm not mad at you). I just like having the chance to say goodbye in the right way.
