Rome will be awesome! I hope xD

I suppose it's not so impressive for us, because we live in Europe. I mean, it's only a 3-hour flight.
But still I'm very enthusiastic about it, it's our first big trip since our boy was born - and he loves the Roman culture, so I'm sure he'll enjoy it.

Only worried that my health has not been great lately, I hope to be recovered before going.

Ahhhh I see. Yeah I was thinking “wow what a trip, flying from america to Europe!” But I suppose to trip isn’t quite so far if you already live in Europe lol. XD m

I hope you feel better soon!

Yeah, crossing the ocean would be another kind of trip indeed.

I'm not sure I'll ever do such a long trip, to be honest.
There is still so much to see in nearby countries, I don't think I'll be done with visiting Europe in all my lifetime

Yeah I assumed you would be crossing the ocean or it would be at least longer than a three hour trip.

I've heard traveling between European countries is easier if you live in one. Is that true? In the USA the only country that its easy to travel back and forth through is Canada and depending on the political climate at the time, Mexico and and few Central American countries.

My state offers an ID that lets you cross the Canadian border so you don't need a passport.

And to me it's exactly all the other way round!
Anything in any other continent sounds way more exotic.

Only for countries within the EU (European Union). Which right now is most of the European countries, so yes, it's easier.
I don't even need a passport to go to Italy, and we use the same coin (Euro) so any transactions are easy. I mean, I can bring my purse with my pocket money and use it there.

At this point, what worries me most is the possibility that they change their covid-related regulations and I need some paper I can't get in time.
