True Beauty.

At the beginning it was great.
Girl feels ugly, learns a lot about make up. When she begins in a new high school and nobody knows her, she can start a new life.
But this guy who seems to be a total jerk figures it out... and she is scared that he tells everybody that she's ugly!
But he does not, because, well, maybe he's not such a jerk after all?

The story developed very very well.
And then when it seemed like an "end" for the story, the author decided to introduce a huge plot twist (probably so there is more story to tell) and it's much worse than it used to.
I think I'm actually giving it up.

AH yes I remember true beauty! I really did like it a lot at the start! They even made it into a kdrama!

But I think I grew bored of it after she ended up with the 2nd lead guy. I just didnt like where the story was going and there are better webtoons out there with the same plot/better plot. I think one of them is called makeup remover? Something like that! It was also very cute :)

I been reading Wished you were dead! Just found it but Im liking the plot and art so far!

Did you get a chance to check out the strongest florist yet haha

That's exactly the point at which I got bored of it too. I've actually given it up completely.

Make up remover? I'll write it down and check it out later.
Haven't checked the Strongest florist either, work is hectic this time of the year.
I'll hopefully have more time in January.

I'm a high school teacher.
I'm doing the last exams (resits mostly, but they still need grading) and then we have all these teachers meetings to talk about each student evolution, which take up my afternoons.
So no time for much else really.

:mchappy: I saw the title and immediately wanted to say I love The Remarried Empress. I've also been reading Wished you were dead lol I'm so happy to hear other people talking about these webtoons. True Beauty was good and you know what? I got tired by a certain moment and I found it hard to finish, but I did. I also watched a couple episodes of the kdrama and it was a little cringy but I liked it :mclaugh:

Have you guys read "Like Wind on a Dry Branch"? I really enjoyed this one. There's so many I've been reading I don't know where to start :mclaugh: I'm sorry, I got too excited and just want to talk about them all at once :mcheh:

I love like wind of a dry branch! But its such a depressing start :(!!! But I love how well the ML and FL work together. No toxicity or like obsession. And the art is amazing!!

I have to look up and read some of these recommendations. I fell down the rabbit hole of so many reading apps this year.
