My dog, Luna, you're ambitious as heck. Meanwhile I'm failing miserably at reading anything at all :mcheh:

Also, hi, nice to see you back in the Kingdom :qh:

OMG and here I am thinking 10 books is a nice and tidy goal for a year lol.

I don't think I could ever get into bookstagram or any of the other types of book review type things. I would be buying waaaay to many books because of that. I watch cross stitch youtube videos and quite a few people I watch also do "what have I read this past month" type of thing. My list has gotten bigger because of that.

hii memoriam!! it's so nice to be back on here !!

:mclove: i just have so much free time. I only work now, no more college cause I completed my master degree. Reading became my hobby again lol

10 books is a good goal!! if you aren't an everyday reader I think it's perfect.
& Rubie my list has grown so long cause of being on bookstagram and booktok OMG. Finding new books every dang day LOL my amazon list can't handle it all

I just can't find the time for reading. Or maybe it's the motivation?
I haven't given up on reading, but I'm no longer an everyday reader.
More often than not I will stay too long in front of the computer. Which is not great for my sleep routine either...
Which reminds me. I should be logging off already. Good night :mclaugh:

My problem is that I have been staying up late to cross stitch. I used to go an hour or two before bedtime to go read. But I can read ebooks just fine in bed so when I'm reading those, I tend to read them a bit faster.

One thing I used to do in college in my super boring class (that I would have to teach myself later because the teacher wasn't all that good) was just browse Goodreads new releases and list and just add a bunch of books to my plan to read. Lol.

OH, you can cross stitch, that's cool.
(I'm learning to mend, and that's pretty much it XD)

Bed time reading is the best reading time.
It also helps me sleep better.
I'm charged of failing to disconect from my devices at night lately. Also have some paper to grade, and it's taking me forever v_v

I wonder what I would do if I caught my students browsing GoodReads... :mclaugh:

I'm jealous. I have a lot of time only because I procrastinate on the priorities I should be doing. But I waste my time in much less intelectual way than reading. Which wouldn't make me feel as bad.
My motivation and energy are in a bad place rn. :mcargh:

I started reading a book on runes, though. It's not long, so hopefully I'll be able to count the first book of the year.
I should really finish the Moonology one... :mcheh:

Don't even get me started on cross stitch. I became a wee bit obsessed last year because I was buying a ton of out of print patterns...for not that cheap. I know how to mend simple things, but I can never get them to stay so it's a constant redoing the mending cuz of that.

There are a lot worse things your students could be browsing than looking at books lol.

I'm improving my darning. Having a young child helps a lot with that XD

Oh, there are definetly plenty of worse things to browse. But I know what I would do in such a case.
Now books... what do you say? "oh, hey, kiddo, how is your challenge going?"
