It's pretty quiet on the forums lately, to be honest.
Things which might be new since you were last here are:
Candy Caravan!
Check out the announcements about it.
Essentially, Grog shows up randomly with his Candy Caravan event shop, and you spend a new currency called "frosted donuts" to gain items from his shop. He comes ~once a month and every three visits one item is retired and another is introduced. The currency items can be found normally by posting: when the Candy Caravan is here, 1 post is 1 frosted donut (exception: spam forum). When the Candy Caravan is not here, you have a small random chance of finding 1-3 frosted donuts per post (exception: spam forum).
The forum definitely gets more lively during Candy Caravan events.

Donation Perks/Queen Items!
There are now more benefits to donating besides the
. Depending on how much you donate in a month, you qualify for varying tiers of donation perks, which are limited Queen's items that change each month.
In addition, to encourage posting, the top 3 posters each month get a free Queen's Item.
Mmmm, that's all I can think of.

The method of Knuffel generations updating has changed.
Now, instead of a new Knuffel coming out whenever the last generation is sold out, they change yearly. You can see how long each Knuffel is currently available for in Knuffeltropolis.
