Yay!! 
it looks great, mabye just make the background transparent instead of white. I cant wait for when its finally finnished, wonderful job so far

I also think a transparent background would look better but it seems to be much more difficult. Don't ask me why, I don't understand much about this, maybe starkad can explain it, though I am not sure knowing the details would help us. O.o

Using the same background as the forum wouldn't work as the shade of blue takes turn each post.
But we were already planning to put a border around it, maybe this would already help.

I know there's an option/tradition in most programs to take the background of an image and paint it a weird color that's not used in the rest of the image and then get the program to designate that as 'transparent'.
But then, with the avatars being multilayered/all kinds of different colors, I guess it does become more difficult. ::shrugs:: I hated dealing with graphics, which was why AI was more my specialty.

Yeah, we do not have any problems making pictures with transparent backgrounds as you can see on my avatar (which, unlike starkad's is not generated by the avatar system, but just a picture.
All items used on the avatar system have transparent backgrounds as well, otherwise it wouldn't work. But starkad said making the background transparent would be a problem. I just have to believe him as I have NO CLUE about coding and he usually knows what he is doing (when it comes to computers...)
