Reading the Extraordinaries by TJ Klune. It's a doozy as the main has adhd and it shows in how they experience the story. :}

You are a Fox!

Foxes are clever, perceptive, and shrewd. You're happiest working behind the scenes, pulling strings and watching others dance to your imperceptible tune. Independent yet highly social, you glide among your circles of acquaintance with ease, sharing your sharp wit or a delicious piece of gossip.

The truth about writing.
It's just a collection of quotes, but some are certainly amusing. A very easy read now that I was not feeling like reading.
To get me ready for my first NaNoWriMo. :qn:

Continuing my re-reading of the Discworld series, I've just started Jingo.
Which is one of the books I remember loving when I first read Discworld, so I'm hoping to have a great time revisiting it.

Oh, Lovecraft!
Used to love him as a teenager.
Maybe because it was all so surreal, and because you would find cats in the most unexpected places xD

I've finished Jingo. As I expected, I loved re-reading it.
And now I've decided to start reading something about creativity, but also there is these books from a local author which we are reading the whole family together so I might start it now.

Sure he is. Amazing guy with kind of sick imagination.
I will finish it ... at some point...if I stop to be distracted by all Asian romance webnovels I keep reading

But Pratchett is also not a bad choice i must say :mccool:

Very sick imagination indeed.
And those weird monster descriptions, they were very unique at his time and still are strange now.

Yeah, Pratchett is great.
I'm trying to not read several in a row, so I'm going quite slowly. I think I started last year? But I think Jingo is the 21st of the series, so I'm doing fairly well.

Now I'm reading a book from a local writer.
Ok, so this is a series about a group of 4 teenagers and a dog, solving mysteries and what not. Sounded like The Famous Five and that kind of series. But in towns near ours.
The author was looking for funding for the 5th book in the series, and you could buy the whole collection together. My husband found it out and ordered it, thinking it would be a nice read for our 7 years old son.
But...
Well, it's not The Famous Five at all.
First chapter in the first book, you have people getting drunk and high on drugs. ^^;
Apparently in the next books there are sexual relationships, and dramatic personal situations.

And we were naive enough to let the kid read them before us!
He already finished the last one, husband is on the fourth, I'm starting the first.
Woops.
