That would be.... -thinking-

"Suki desu ga... ima pan wo tabeteimasu."

"I like but....I am eattin bread right now."

"Te+imasu" is "in the state of going something"

Because taberu is dictionary to "eat" and tabemasu is verb for "eatting"

tabeteimasu would be "eatting (currently)"

The "desu ga..." is a hang on to say "But...." and trail off. This us usually used when you're turning down someone because of a reason and that way, the person understands that you can't do their request right now. Adding the reason of why just continues the sentence after "but..." to give a solid reason.

Hai.

"Ima" means "now" when speaking of time. The placement of time in a sentence is usually in the beginning of a sentence when you're saying an event will occure now, tomorrow, in the afternoon, next year, etc. It is at the begining because using words that describe time that way has no measure or number. If it did, it would be within the sentence.

Anata wa urusai janai. Shinpaishinai de kudasai.

Oh, I see. Japanese pronunciation isn't hard; it pretty much consists of five vowel sounds:

A (as in announce)
But it's 'ah', nut 'uh'. I read this as 'uhnounce'.
A - as in 'on'

*strong glare* Give me all your cheesecake! >K

I love reading and manga. I like KofK, anime, Japanese, Maplestory, art, pottery, clothes, shoes, and food.

I dont like annoying people, ignorant people (ha), overly critical people, really pessimistic people, really sheltered people, and people who judge others a lot.

Wow, that was a long list. u.u;;
More can be seen in my quest thread. ;D
