@Lacrimosa: Yes the brushes are nice... but I have found one basic sketching brush, one blending brush and a few special effects ones are all I need. I actually deleted all the ones I don't use and I had around five left. I'm saving all the special effects brushes separately and will just load a brush when I need it to keep it from getting confusing.

Kat - I know some ways, like coloring only the edges and then using paint button to fill in the middle. As well as completely cutting out doing the base colors. The main reason why my first video is so long is because I had just casually recorded, leaving the window, opening up chat window and such. So when I edited it, I shopped out 100 minutes. Though my last video that was of me slopping coloring something, only came out 6 minutes. It used to take me longer then 40 minutes to color, and longer then an hour. I used to spent 4. So in the end, the time just keeps getting shorter as I improve..

Charstarwishes&lacrimose - I wish to learn SAI, it has nicer blending methonds then photoshop.

I draw mostly in Flash these days. I'd say it's because I work in the Flash games industry and wanna broaden my skill set, but.... really, the coloring goes sooo much faster. As long as you like cel-shading, anyway. Although I've seen people do some cool shading stuff with gradients but I pretty much only use those for the backgrounds.

I didn't get much drawing done this weekend. But given that last weekend I pretty much drew the whole time... I don't feel too bad about it. xD

I really need to sit down and fegure out how to do some sweet gradent shading with flash. I know if can be done, I don't know if it would be as well as some programs.
I want to go by this when or if I try it out. I guess I really should just try it out. XD;;;;

Cool tutorial. :3 I tried the gradient shading for a class project, although that was before I was very good at making art in Flash at all, so it turned out pretty crappy.

Also... I finally launched my comic! Though I doubt anyone here would be interested since it's a Warcraft fancomic. I don't think there's much overlap between the Warcraft fandom and Knuffel fandom. XD;;
