It's fine, I guess I'm just so steeped in fandom that I've got fan-blinders on all the time. So did you just start writing a half a year ago? Or have you been writing for a longer time and have just started to look for other writers to, er, commiserate with. XD

I've been writing for all my life (even when just playing LEGO and not exactly writing, I've been thinking over the phrases, sentences and entire pharagraphs too), but about half a year ago I've found an article "How Mafoys Breed" by Linor Goralik (in russian) about the fanfics published in 2003 and met a mass of new terminology and learned that there are communities of people who do what I've been doing and share it and have fun and join other's fandoms while having their own as well. I was stunned and fainted. And then I recovered consciousness and fainted again.

.. . Yes, when I realized that all those creatures in my head are called OCs, I went right here. XD

Ahaha, I've been trying to learn to draw for a long time now, but I'm not very dedicated with my practice so I haven't been getting much better. That and it always seems like the pictures of my OCs in my head never seem to match up well with what ends up on paper...

.. . That's why I created one of my OC's face in the sims 3 game and then used it as a ref. XD
This way I can make necessary edits with having a more or less corresponding (or what shall it be called?) base image...
.. . Plus, tutorials make you believe that you can do it. And if motivated I can be rather paitient...
