That depends on what you consider a "watermark". If you mean, are you allowed to sign your art, then, yes of course you are - it is your art and you can sign it, though it probably isn't helping the anonymous voting in the end.
If you mean a watermark going all over the image, then no, art is useless like this.
And even if it is just your signature -if the art should be used for something like, for example, a banner for an announcement on KofK like this:
 , it is most likely that only parts of the image, and not the whole image, will be used, and the signature might not be visible in the end. If you don't want this to happen and don't want your art to be used in such a way, you should not take part in this contest.

well my watermark usually goes across the image in one section, but i believe to your standards it might be considered too much. and my signature consists of my name rather than username and is usually in a small corner, and im pretty sure the only ones who know it are on deviantart, so id be okay still for that "anonymous" thing.
i dont mind nto using the watermark, i was just wondering if it was allowed or not.

who knows, i might even add my cartoon style too!! xD but that would haev to be digital >>;; i cant exactly use pencils the way i usualy do for it for this contest....
and yes CARTOON... why? bcs its not anime! ppl try to correct me on this for soem odd reason >> im alwasy like "no.. its CARTOON! not anime!" and then i show them i picture of what i meant, adn therey liek "oh your right" doi! god.. some people.....

ok two questions.
we can enter as many entries as we want? i read the front page and all but i may have missed that, i'll double check.
and two, if we did line art by hand, colored with crayon/marker/traditional stuff then touched it up in say photoshop like smoothed it out or added lighting effects, would that be considered traditional because 90% of it is by hand and traditional media or digital since there was some touch up done?
