I just heard my mom say that i wasn't part of the
family anymore
She made food for my family, but left me out
she said i was dead to her
i am extremely sad at this moment
Yet i have done nothing wrong
to get such reaction

To hear such words said to you strikes even me. A parent should never say such things. Sadly, be grateful for they have done nothing close to that of my step brother's situation. His mother made un-kept promises, leading him on, just to finally take him in and through him out... twice. As a result, he spent the next several months in the hospital from about one weeks worth of lack of sleep.
I know it may sound like I'm diminishing your situation, but I am not. Just letting you know that it's at least not as horrid as some others. As for myself, I hope I never find myself in either yours, or my step brothers, situation. Either one of those would break me.
Here's hoping for the best to come, Angel.

and yes, that is quite horrible what happen to
your step brother, i wish him my most sincerest wish for his health
i am still pretty down about it but well
i figured if there gonna treat me as much
they aren't worth thinking about

He's doing much better, and should continue doing so as long as his mother doesn't come asking to see him. Like the elder of my young step brothers, I'll be glad once he scratches her from his life.

That I must agree with. Think only of better times, and you will be at ease.

It's sort of amusing that you'd call me Eldarlo of all of my OCs because Eldarlo is probably as far removed from being my Sue as she could be. She wasn't even supposed to be a main character. In the story I originally wrote her for, she never really comes out unless in flashbacks and such.

Yeah, less land in Korea with it being a small peninsula so most of the buildings there in metropolitan areas are high-rises. So they end up dividing them in sections so people would have easier time finding everything they need. They're more like department stores, anyway.

Drink more tea than water. Like barley tea. Those are drunk like water and have no caffeine. Not sure what else... most of the stores in the subway systems sell knock-offs, but they're cheap so if he's not really worried about getting good authentic stuff, he should shop there. Old people there are really naggy but that means they care about you. They'll also try to feed you lots because food means love. If you go over to someone's house, you ALWAYS need a gift. Food and toiletries are good gifts. Cakes are cheap gifts, fruits more expensive, raw meat and seaweed laver are the best gifts. Or plants or towel sets. They'll say you didn't have to but that's just being polite. They really do like getting gifts and it's the polite thing to do and if you don't they'll think you were brought up right. But if your boyfriend isn't Asian looking they'll probably just assume it's cultural differences even if he messes up here and there. Not sure what else I can think of... Don't run over school girls in tanks even though your president will probably say it wasn't your fault? :qstr: But I guess that was Bush administration and with Obama you probably wouldn't get away with it.

He's not Asian looking XD

His friend whose already in Korea told him to stay away from bars and juicy women.

I told him about daegu, how safe Korea is compared to other places, respect your elders, when you hand in or receive something, the high speed train goes to Seoul, grocery shopping, internet access, dangerous locals, some Korean women who will just use you for English, take off shoes.

Most of the people I've talked to see this as a deployment but he'll be staying with a host family so its a foreign exchange program so to speak

I hope he doesn't use a tank

Angel, I'm sorry about your moms words ive had family say the same to me and I hated them for it

watched some TV, Played my just dance 3 game
and spend some time reading and finishing one of the
book i brought for the holidays
It was pretty good, but it lacked in more romance
which i do so enjoy x)
i think the author would pick it up in the next book, and i can't wait
