Signed one of these a while back. I filled out a letter to our representative. I've changed all my icons on other sites to Stop SOPA & PIPA pictures. And I spread the word to everyone I know.
This is unbelievable and stupid. One of them was quoted saying that they know nothing about the internet. THEN WHY ARE YOU VOTING FOR THIS? GTFO. I sincerely hope this doesn't pass. I don't really think it will... but... you never know. So keep spreading the word! Whether you're an American citizen or not, SPREAD THE WORD. EVERYONE needs to know about this. WE NEED TO MAKE THIS STOP!

This has been a huge thing since December, I'm glad that it's starting to get more recognition everywhere. This is a really big fucking deal. Make one copyright mistake by just posting your favorite image or doing some fan art and BAM, site closed with no information required.

Been signing petitions since early November. I'm not American, but SOPA/PIPA could easily affect us here too.
It's good that even neutral Wikipedia and other sites have been blacked out, it's a great way to spread awareness when major sites are against them.

I will fight! internet censorship is stupid. It impairs freedom of speech (Amendment 1 of the Bill of Rights) and its almost impossible to completely inforce and a waste of time.
