He's gonna be next to 100. owo Or the 2 other in the 2nd Gen that aren't 100 yet. :)
And yea I feel like the newer Knuffels aren't as elaborate as the old ones because Firn has had to rush with so many. D: They're all still so lovely but they don't have as many accessories as before.
I've only got the 1st Gen and half the 2nd maxed. I've been here 3 years and just got the 1st Gen done not long ago. XD It gets harder to keep leveling them the more I get.
Hah, sometimes even in their original element they won't find much. I'm not really concerned about mine, though. I have a million materials and I don't really do the quests a whole lot. xD I just dig to find some FP to help me buy things. :D
:3 Glad to answer you questions. It was a bit difficult for me to start out here. Well, I came over here from Gaia, which is where Firn originally had Knuffel, and I didn't really understand how things worked on the site back then, so I didn't really bother with it. I only got into it since last year or two years ago, I think, when she changed to the Knuffel system she has now.

Yeah, I noticed that too. ; A ; I was looking in that Knuffle archive thread and the older gens are SOOO gorgeous! Even the first/earlier levels already look amazing... They're still awesome now, but you can definitely see that the lack of time has made things a bit tougher.
O: S-so few?? LOL. They're already so elaborate, I thought like 2/3rds of them were maxed. >___<;; But yeah, I can imagine. I was just maxing out like half of yours and that took me a good half/two thirds of an hour, I think?
Ohhh. I wasn't sure if I should do the quests. I haven't found any materials that any of the quests want (then again, I have like... 3 materials. xDDD;; So that might be why... ) so I don't know if I should start one or not. Maybe that's how you find them? OwO /unsure of the system.
Oh, wow, Firn started on Gaia??? /shocked.
This place is so much nicer than Gaia.
I think the set-up works pretty well over all; much less chaotic than Gaia.
I just came here from Solia (which I went to from Gaia) so it's not AS much of a culture shock I guess since things are kind of similar on Solia in respect to the community and the pace of things in general.
And the Professional system we have is possibly more elaborate than the Knuffle system, even. xDDDD

I guess to a new person, some of them might looked finished. xD Since I know most of the older ones' stages, I can just glance and see who's not finished. Some of the newer ones that haven't been around as long I often question if they're done or not. xD I have to ask my friend sometimes (if the Info guide hasn't updated recently) if they stopped at a certain stage or not and if she says yes, I'm sometimes shocked because I don't remember final stages. XD
@-@ If you need some materials, I can give you some. XD I don't have a lot of Rare ones but everything else, I pretty much will never run out of them. XD The items that the NPCs ask for are items that the Alchemist will make from the materials you find. Like the quest I have now, the NPC wants Green Hair Dye, but to make it the Alchemist needs: 1 x Green Candle, 1 x Green Diamond, 1 x Green Balloon, 1 x Harpy Hair, 1 x Mermaid Hair, 4 x Book of Time...etc and you get those things from digging and browsing the forum and such. You go back to him once you have those things and he'll change them into the item they need. :)
Yep! Firn started out on Gaia. xD See? She's even got a preview of what the Knuffel used to be. xD They weren't on a leveling system. You just fed and played with them.
I've not heard of Solia. o: I know several of my friends who have abandoned Gaia like myself went to TinierMe, but I could never get into that site. x.x

Yeah, it's always like that when you start out at a new site. Everything looks so foreign. It used to be that way on Solia just after I got off my year-long hiatus. I didn't recognize ANYTHING anymore. But these days, it's easier. >w<
It'll probably be a while before I start recognizing stages on here, though. xDDD

OHHHH!! So you need to accept a quest and then find out the ingredients to make the item?? I thought the 'wanted' item WAS the material so I was like... how is this an easy quest? @A@;;
Oh, well, if they're materials you don't want, I'd gladly take 'em with thanks~ But only if you're sure you won't need them later...??
Do you get like... more quests after you're done with the ones that are there or are there only that number of quests?

I felt like the community is more elitist in a way. Welcoming, but stand-off-ish at the same time, if that makes sense?
Solia's another forum-based community but its very much more about talking and using the forums. We've got games and the Professional system (which is like a carrier and you can craft stuff as you level up) and things like that to spice it up but the main part is the forums. I love it there cuz its just fast enough to be entertaining without being overwhelming. And, call me biased, but the avatars there are THE BEST. *O*; >.<;;

xP No, the items they want can only be made by the alchemist. And when you click on an NPC they have different starred quests, the less stars the easier they are I believe. :) Don't worry, @-@ I have more materials than I know what to do with. List the ones you need and I can spare yah some. :D Um, I think each NPC has a certain amount of quests, after you finish one you can go back and do the others but I don't know if they can be repeated or anything. x.x I haven't kept up with the changes in the questing. xD
Gaia must've been like the first big popular one that started out. xD I think sites now have branched from it. It got too commercial for me. /: Around when they started making Evolution Items (which I loved in the beginning) it just was incredibly clear they were throwing them out at a ridiculous rate to rake in the moo-la. Got pretty boring after that.
Yea, I don't know TM just doesn't seem like something for me. XD As for Solia, I might not excel there. I don't use the forums so much. >///< I pretty much keep to myself. Heh. xD Believe or not, this is actually the first time I've ever actually chatted in the forums here. O:

I need to make a fairy wand (I randomly chose a no-star quest) and I need: 1 x Twig, 2 x Heart Balloon, 5 x Cheese Sandwich, 7 x Toilet Paper, and 330 food points. o__o;
I was searching around one of the guides and it says if you cancel/reject a quest it never comes back. So no multiples (unless you make a mule, I guess).
Yeah, that's around the time I gave up as well. I thought it was a good idea at first, but the rate they're churning them out is just a bit too much. I don't think Gaia actually needs it either since they seem to have plenty of money from advertising already. DDDx
Aww, really?? I love the forums (if the right people are present, of course). I don't like Gaia's forums and I just came here to check it out cuz Raine told me people here are nice. but TBH if I didn't like the forums, even if I find the Knuffles cute, I wouldn't have com. Cuz this is a big part for me. xD

I just came for the Knuffel cos I loved them so much on Gaia. And I think I'm a bit forum shy because I've been on a few other virtual pet sites and the community wasn't very friendly at all. o.o Well, from what I saw lurking. They all seemed a bit smug.
x3 Is that pixel art in your sig? If it is, it's so good I can't even tell. xD I'm envious.
(Bit delayed in response because I'm ATTEMPTING to brush up on drawing a bit but T.T my allergies are spazzing out and making it difficult. I think the plants are having a pollen party with the rain having ceased for a few days. Waaahh~ -misery-)

Actually, a few of my quests messed up somehow and I ended up with the combined item from the alchemist AND the quest reward. So I have an artificial snowman and a special ingredient pie. @__@ I dunno what to do with them... ( I think I have them cause my mouse double clicks randomly... stupid junk)

And oh dear. I'm sorry to her that you had bad experiences before with forums. I guess it's partly also finding the right people/places. I definitely wouldn't want to be a newbie on Gaia, for instance (although TBH, I feel like one anyway since I gave/sold most of my stuff away there).
