xD I was practicing eyes. @-@ There's so many different ways people draw eyes. And I was making an attempt at hair but I can only get bangs to look like hair a few times and the rest of the time it looks messy and not like hair at all and the rest of hair I can't make anything look right at all. XD -Fail- I did a random doodle of a kitty plushie in a box though. x3

I used to doodle eyes all the time. It was like my go-to when I was bored. XD There are so many ways!

Hair can be tricky. :mcmeh:

T.T Yea...I can come up with something a little decent if I look at someone's hair style but it's hard to translate realistic hair to anime/manga drawing style for hair (for me anyway). :S I found a tutorial, though, that made it a little easier to understand a bit. I never thought to bring hair to a point on the head. xD I just always thought as long as it doesn't come too far up past the hairline it'll look good. >///< I wish I could find other useful stuff like that. I haven't found a whole lot of tutorials other than that on hair that's useful to me. XD Most they all say is 'it gets better with practice!' Doesn't help if I don't have a stepping stone to know how to practice it. >.<

It was actually pretty cute! If I think about it I might scan it/photograph it tomorrow and line it on Sai. x3

aww yeah, hair tutorials are hard to come by. =\ I wish I had a few to recommend. =_= Best advice I can give when trying to practice without knowing how is to just find a few pics you really like and observe them as much as you can.. then try to replicate parts. *shrug* It helps me at least. ^^;

I was attempting it. ^-^ I might grab one of the photo stock sites I use as ref look ups and see what kinda hair I can find on those!

^-^ I'll have to fix some lines cos I know some proportions are WAY off! XD I drew it while watching The Lion King. x3

XD That's how I am! I get upset if I miss one of my fave movies on tv even though I own most movies I like! XD But it's like I never watch them unless they're on tv. >3< I really want the new Miyazaki movie and Sherlock Holmes! T.T

I've still not seen the new Miyazaki movie. =\ I heard it was a bit slow and the ending seemed rushed. Buuut I dunno, since I've not seen it. XD

I don't own many movies. Mostly Disney. :mclaugh:

I haven't seen it either. It was hardly in any theaters here! Every time I planned to go see it, I either couldn't find a theater or the times were all weird and we didn't get a chance to go. I don't care, though. It's Miyazaki! I buy all his movies. xD

We have tons. x.x A lot of them are Disney as well. I'd really like to get all the Classics on dvd. I think I've only got Fox and the Hound and Lady and the Tramp. I really want the few that we never got on VHS like Hunchback of Notre Dame, Hercules, Aristocats and a few others. I don't remember which. Those were always some of my most favorites and we didn't own them. XD Oh! But we did record Notre Dame on tape and I watched it for a month straight and then I think the tape got torn up because of it! XD

haha! I have things like Beauty and the Beast, Mulan, Lion King, Aristocats, and Hercules (which is like my favorite. I watch that movie like once every 2 weeks). But I got some newer ones like Bolt and The Princess and the Frog. :mclove: I still need like Wall-E and Finding Nemo.. plus some older ones like Aladin and The Little Mermaid. =3=
