And depends on how you look at it. A lot happens in the pictures, but there's no real expression. No reality. To me it's just fake. Take Napoleon for example.

Apparently he's won a battle or something, otherwise he wouldn't take a pose like that. Can anyone point out to me where his pride is? What he's thinking? His face doesn't match his body at all.
And wasn't Nappy an ugly little man? And this lad, isn't he portrayed as a big might prince on a white stallion?
And you know what? Who the hell would take a pose like that on a battlefield? No one would! Not a single blood stain! Not a single scratch! Fake, fake, fake. I can't stand it. The whole idea behind it. But that's just me. ^_^;;
I just like realism.

Ich möchte so gern deutsch lernen, so wie besser denn mit Bücher? <3
Ich habe Drachenbrut gelesen, Temeraire auf deutsch. Die Feuerreiter seiner Majestät sind mein liebsten Bücher. :D
Ich habe auch einigen Flugzeugencyclopedien auf deutsch und seit meiner letzten Besuch auf Deutschland habe ich fünf oder sechs anderen Bücher bekommen. <3
Oh und ich habe auch Die Drachenkämpferin aber ich habe es noch nicht gelesen. Ich brauche viel Energie um deutsch zu sprechen oder zu lesen aber das habe ich nicht immer... ;D

Oh, it's all good about Aki - It was just a momentary - oh what the hell..haha.

But Merrrrryyy - look at this and tell me it's not a great story full of reality and emotion. To each his own, I like realism too - I can't think of any art I don't like..haha. Maybe Jeff Koons.

Yes, I love dragons, but it's not all I read about haha. The other books I bought were about cats, pirates, a sorcerer's apprentice on a ship, DNA, aaand... I don't remember the last one. o.O
And I don't care, as you can see I understand both, and if you ignore the grammar I can talk back as well. But there are still others in here who don't speak German. :p

If that is Romanticism someone should shoot my teacher. Because that is in no way what I learned is Romanticism. Actually, it's everything it's not. It shows expression. It shows reality. It shows gruesome scenes. It's not beautiful, it's actually really rough. It's everything Romanticism wants to hide. Actually, if what I have learned is true, this is what came right after Romanticism, when artists revolted against the censorships and wanted to show what was really going on - and dropped the whole coverup shit. That's what I was taught.

But it was so unfair by the way! I bought the first part in Kleve last August of course, for like €9,-, and when I went to Wuppertal two weeks ago there was the full thing of three books in one for €15,-. >>
