When is that fair again, Juliet? Oh, how I'd love to go! It sounds so exciting!
"Which he hardly ever goes into" how familiar that sounds! To make such a drama over something he never even has anything to do with! xD
Frankly, I love just about all animals. Birds are my fave, but I can't choose my second fave. Canines, felines, rodents, horses... Every animal has it's own charm and I can't get enough of it. <3
They've got many, many species in Avifauna... My favorite part of the whole park is Lori Landing, you can feed lorikeets there, the'll be all over you. :D
There's a predator bird show where they've got trained falcons and macaws and other birds, though I can't remember which, it's been too long since I've been there and I wasn't that much into bird species back then... I just enjoyed the show... <3
They also have the stinky flamingos haha. And other than that... oh, they have way more, but I just can't remember!
Ostriches, peacocks... Haha that peacock was awesome, there's this food stand in a remote site of the park, and the summer I worked there was really rainy so there were so little people. I was alone there all day long, I didn't even understand why they opened the stand... but this peacock visited me frequently, to keep me company :D
Ah I loved that beauty.
I believe the name is just a combination of Aviary (birds) and Fauna (animal kingdom). ^_^
