On my laptop there is a program, but I think it's only with windows 7. It's called Snipping Tool. Or you look here: http://take-a-screenshot.org/It works for me, too.

ml, it's not a program you need to download, it's with windows 7, already on my laptop. And it is very simple. Also the link I sent her contains similar info as your post, just wanted to add that ;)
(this kind of sounds offensive, but it shouldn't be ;) )

I also actually never knew how to make a screen shot. I knew what I had to click, but I never knew that I had to put it in e.g. paint :D

It's called Snipping Tool. You can chose the part you want to make a screen shot of and then you already have it there. Quite comfy :P
