Am I good at writing?
Saphira closed her eyes for a second, fatigue running through her as Galatea became heavier until she finally had to drop it to the ground. Holding on to the sword with both hands as her vision continued to blur in and out of reality, and in her consciousness she found that peculiar feeling again.
It was lending strength to her, like a warm flow of water going into her cold limbs until she felt rejuvenated and alert.
Saphira lifted up her head with her eyes still closed, she could feel the creatures every movement as if it were her own. The way her lungs rose in an even tempo as she breathed. The way her throat rumbled as she growled at the Chaos child as her hard yet smooth scales rubbed against each other as she moved. The way the earth smelled, and the air's aroma of lilacs that just bloomed at the side of a nearby river. She could hear the water running through the rocks, even though it was some miles away, and she could hear how the woodland creatures ran through the ground and the trees, as if hiding in fear. She could feel all this and a million things more as she was sure that the creature could hear and feel every sensation she could.
Saphira got up in one smooth movement and put Galatea back in her shaft and approached the creature with shinning scales.
She reached out and gently touched the back of the creature, were the wings connected to smooth scales. The creature turned fast and growled, but as soon as she saw her, her expression soften and her eyes turned that deep bottomless blue that gave off the feeling that this creature was more than what it appeared.
Saphira put both of her hands on the creature's head, stroking it softly on the bottom jaw. The creature emanated a soft purr, sorta like a cat's, but much stronger and deeper as her throat rumbled.
"I shall call you, Illuminati Lacindu or Illu for short"
Saphira said in a whisper as she continued to stroke the creature.
"Illuminati, you say? a wise name, and a nice ring to it, i like it and your name is Saphira? Is it not?, I am very pleased to finally meet you.I have been waiting a long time for this day."
Said a soft, enchanting voice with a heaviness that could only be given from a deep pool of knowledge and inmencesively strong magic.
Saphira looked around to see where the voice was coming from. She looked everywhere ,not only with her eyes but with her other senses as well but she could not find anyone-other than the Chaos child- within hearing distance.
Saphira's eye's wondered back to Illu, and a confused look formed in her face. Could it be?
"You can talk?"
Saphira said in a whisper. It sounded like a stupid question to ask but it was the only thing she could think of with her awestruck mind. Illuminati seemed to smile as her eyes brighten.
" You are confused, what is it that confuses you? Surely you do not believe that I am like this other four legged creatures without the capacity for speech"
Said Illu, her voice seemed to be in her head and she could feel that other mind from earlier closer to her. It took her a few minutes to realize it was Illu's consciousness that was within hers.
Illuminati did a short laugh, a sound that rumbled around the forest.
"Come, we have much to talk about little one"
Illu said, Saphira felt a little weird by the use of the name.
Illuminati seem to sign and she reached out to her with her neck, grabbed Saphira by the sleeve of her dress and pulled her up and into her back.
"Hold on tight"
She said ,as Illu took one jump and unfolded her wings and took to the sky.
