If I could add to what cyan said... Maybe the artist didn't like the idea of people getting food points out of her items? Someone on this thread did mention they bought one of the items for 2.5k, that's more than a lot of wild knuffels selling around. So I don't really think it is wrong of her to contact Firn about it. It's all about the way she said it. So on this point I can only hope she was not rude to you, Firn.

it's a more professional move on your part keeping the owner's respects in mind
I mean I never got to see the item so I can't say for not if I'll miss it or not

like everybody said accidents happen, there's a reason that there's an opt out for allowing wild knuffel items to be made so people have their reasons as weird as it seems to us. I know I'd personally be thrilled for an item to be made if I made a knuffel but people that might not be everyone

I don't buy Wild Knuffel, but I do enjoy having Wild Knuffel themed items available. That said, I don't understand why most people are picking on the artist - it's her intellectual work, and she should be able to decide if the rest of the community gets to use her work.
Like others are saying, it'd be an honor to have your work turned into an item, but keep in mind that not all people will feel this way.

Props to Firn for handling this in a professional manner. :) The mistake does not matter as much as how you handle the outcomes.

Please understand that while some people would feel glad to have their designs turned into items everyone feels differently about his own art and it is her complete right not to want her items here for whatever reason. We do not have to understand this, but we should all respect this and not get mad at the artist.

I am not happy about the whole situation, but it was not the artist's fault, but mine and she should not be the one to get any hatred because of a mistake I made.
