By the Sword by Mercedes Lackey. I read one of her books for the first time this year and I am now officially addicted. I'm reading all the Valdemar stuff that I can get my hands on. :qh:

I'm reading the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy for the first time, which I know is probably kind of sad. If I'm not in the mood for that I have the Chronicles of Prydain, which I'm rereading... just 'cause.

Now I've also picked up Game of Thrones, Dune, Rose Daughter (by Robin McKinley), Green (by Jay Lake), Heart's Blood (by Juliet Marillier), and the Sevenwaters Trilogy (also by Marillier).

Ooh, I love Mercedes Lackey! I've read all the books she's published in her 500 Kingdoms series, but I haven't looked into her other works. Too many other books I'm working on, though I admit that I was tempted to pick up a few of her books when I had my little spree buying the ones I mentioned above. :mccute:

I finished reading Tina Fey's Bossypants. And am in the process of reading Perks of Being a Wallflower, because I really enjoyed the movie.

The lightness of being. Mass, ether, and the unification of forces by Frank Wilczek. I've also started The Lord of the Rings, since I've never managed to read it - as a kid I was unlucky and got a terrible translation :mcmeh: So I'm reading it in English right now. There are also some books for college, but I don't think they're worth mentioning here.

I want to practise my English. If you see any mistakes, please send me a pm.

Why do some people use such a small font size? It hurts my eyes... :mcdead:

I'm reading Tropic of Cancer by Henry Miller for class right now. I don't like it all that much; it's very much modernism.

Temple of the Golden Pavilion. Have to for my course; reading Japanese literature. It's interesting but you kinda have to understand the culture and history.

Life is beautiful

What I say is my opinion, what you say is yours. If I offend or hurt in anyway, tell me, and I'll apologise because I probably didn't intend it. In fact, the possibility probably didn't even enter my little head; there's not much room in there for many things.

Languages are beautiful. Respect the one you are using.

I've now started on Goodbye to Berlin by Christopher Isherwood, though I never finished Tropic of Cancer. We've already moved on to the next book in class.

I'm currently reading Barefoot Running. It's about running barefoot.

I don't really know why but I just haven't been interested in fiction at all for a while. Wait no I know why. I know why. because its bad.

edit: Im not reading it right now but I just remembered The Alchemist and its really good and I want everyone to read it its so good
