Easter Event 2013 PART I - Eggplantation [OVER] - Page 11

I see. That's understandable. Maybe it would be better to always state the day before deactivating the event as last day. Like this time, but without changing the date after announcing it. So people always have time the whole last day and after that the event is officially over and no one can complain... I guess. ^^
I don't get the thing with the time zones. Isn't it obvious that the event would run until midnight server time, if it lasts until midnight at all? o_O

Yes, changing the date midway probably wasn't my smartest idea, but I only had the complains about free item offers not being available anymore recently (somehow no one complained about this for all the past years), so it did not really occur to me to change it in time.
I will probably state a date one day before the actual date always in the future, though I might fear that, if it becomes a habit, people will expect it and then complain if the free item/event is not available a few hours after the end date anymore.

Well, we will see. I am sorry our dates given are always so inaccurate, it's really not always easy for us to make some things in time. A free item offer can be deactivated within a few minutes, but for events it often takes a bit longer so starkad often does these things at moments where he feels like he can spare longer periods of time, and we usually cannot predict when these moments will happen.

I guess that's because it was very easy to get free items in the past, even if you missed one. People got them on their mules and sold them for cheap in the market, so it was easy to get them. But now they are expensive (20k+ for the kitty, 150k for the wig) and it really sucks to miss one of them.
I'm so glad I made it a habit to come by daily. xD

That's very likely, yes. I have to admit I got totally dependent on your TT reminder (thank you so much btw!), so I guess it would be the same with stating the last day of an event or free item. ^^"

I didn't know that it takes some time to deactivate. I always thought you just had to remove some files or something like that... now I feel stupid. x_x
You don't have to be sorry. We members should probably just try to get our events over in time. I think the idea with stating the day before deactivating as last day is quite good. Maybe there will be less trouble with that. Or at least I do hope so. ^^

I just wanted to harvest one of my plants, it was like 30 seconds, 29, 28...3,2,1...23:59:59? What the? :mcconf:

I do not think it is really a problem, I collected a few of the items already, but even so, you know :-)
I have four plants to harvest, but it seems I am not able to because of this weirdness.

Looking forward to the next part of the event :)

Unfortunately there isn't going to be another part. Part 2 is already over and part 1 is ending tomorrow. So the easter event is nearly over now.

And when will I be able to harvest my last plants? It seems looped, as I wrote yesterday - about 20 hours to "harvest" three plants and about one hour to harvest one plant - as yesterday. And when there was 0:00:00, it just "overflowed" to 23:59:59 yesterday and I expect that to happen today too...

I am afraid your best shot would be to PM starkad with your problem. He is the only one who could help you and he probably doe snot read posts here.
