Bachelor of Psychological Science so I can become a Clinical Psychologist (basically a professional counselor).

I have migraines and more often then not it can be set off by the flickering lights the university uses so I can't do it on campus without vomiting and fainting and having visual distortions and stuff. I've also been having problems with severe depression and suicidal thoughts since some close family members have died somewhat recently (like, the last five years, so my father and grandfather). And I've been dealing with some problems with PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder) from being raped repeatedly and beaten for 19 odd months after my mother kicked me out of the house when dad died and she moved on to dating truckers and random strangers off the internet a month after his death. Well- lets just say quite a few things have been going on lately that the university doesn't think I can be stable enough with to study even though having something productive to do will actually take my mind off things...

I generally try not to bring it up though since it's kind of personal and I don't like feeling like I'm bothering other people...

And by the way is it just migraines or are you an epileptic? o.o

I'm 22.

It's just Aura Migraines for me, I don't have epilepsy, so that's a plus.

I do, for me, the plus side is I don't have seizures and convulsions like an epileptic, so that's nice.

I have a bit of PTSD too... so I know it's not an easy thing to live with. >.<

Yeah, I'm living with Beau, my boyfriend. He's very understanding and he doesn't mind if I want to sleep in a separate bed from him because of... reasons. And my friends are really lovely too so I try to make sure the people in my life know that I appreciate them and love them very much.

@Blaze, do you get dissociated too? It's one of the reasons I can't go on campus, sometimes grocery shopping in crowded shopping complexes can be hell enough.
