Would it be possible to have some sleeves? I love to compose a dress, but at the moment the only things that we can use as sleeves for dress which don't have them are the armwarmers. I love them, but sometime I really miss some larger sleeves, so it would be wonderful if we could have them to use as we use armwarmers! Both long on the upper arms, as the long armwarmers, or short as the Troth fairy dress

I would especially love sleeves as in the medieval dresses, like this one... :qlov:

Really? Oh... :qcry: But why simply not putting them in the same layer of armwarmers? Obviously they wouldn't match with all the dresses, but this is the same for each item...

The armwarmers are tight-fitting with the body, thus they cannot cause glitches when worn with certain sleeves. They can be worn with big sleeves and with narrow sleeves. This will not work for what you have suggested and the item would mash up with around 50% of all long-sleeve tops. Since I have a big problem with people running around with glitched items I will not make such an item.


I have said this very often in the past, but I will say it again so that maybe, should someone in the future say "I want item X" and I say "item X won't work" and then the person starts debating you can pass this along: I would very much appreciate it if people would just believe me that certain items do not work, without me having to explain myself over and over again. Use your imagination. Imagine what you suggested layering under a yukata. Then imagine it layering under a top with narrow sleeves. One of these two options does not work. And now imagine it layering over the tops with the same items. Again, it does not work with one of these versions. It is a 50%/50% success/failure rate.

If I could simply trust people not to use the glitched versions that would be another thing, but experience has shown that this isn't the case. Every glitch that can or could somehow be achieved with an item or combination of items: You name it, people have used it/are using it. I do not want items around that can be worn in a way they are not intended to be worn.

Well then... may I ask for more dresses with flaring sleeves?

I would also like to ask for form-fitting collared business shirts (so no lines actually go outside of the body) on the undershirt layer and an open business coat on the shirt layer (like basic sweater except more formal). I would also like it if the collared business shirt on the undershirt layer with no parts sticking outside of the body outline came with two versions: one with a tie and one without. And I would like it if the open business coat on the shirt layer ALSO came with two versions: one with a sweater vest and one without.

I'm hoping that if the business shirt doesn't have any bits poking outside the body and is on the undershirt layer and the open business coat is on the shirt layer they can be worn together and the business shirt can be worn under other shirts, like Veritas Top, and the business coat that's actually on the shirt layer can be worn with other undershirt underneath. Like Ace Undershirt to give it the impression of wearing turtleneck underneath. Or they can be mixed and matched between each other.

I hope the fact that these two items are both one layer under the layer they normally would be in real life would make them feasible with KofK layers.

And before the next person who isn't satisfied with my word alone that these hats don't work jumps in and states that we could just leave the back of the hair away:
Nope, looks like half of your head is missing, this is why all hats that remove the back of the hair cover a great area around the avatar's head, especially on the left (the avatar's right) side. :mcsad:

There is a general rule you can go by: If there is an item TYPE we do not really have on KOfK, then it is for the reason that these do not work. Belts, singel loose sleeves, most big hats, big bracelets, jackets, etc... We don't have these because they don't work. :mcsad:
