You could try to trade your spices for other materials =)
or give them to those who can't dig ;)

I'll probably do that, then! No point in holding on to 'em after I'm done baking keys. XD

No, it will end a few days after that, but I cannot tell you an exact date yet, probably around the 27/28th.

Though I personally have no problem with picking up my items, I think it'd be recommended to pick the 28th due to holidays. That is merely my point of view, though! :qsml:

I am afraid we disable events when we can, not when someone recommends us to do so.

We have lives, job, school, family, and other obligations outside of KOfK and if I - like with every event - cannot guarantee users exact ending times, then it is because we have other, usually more important, things to take care of and cannot say "Yes! We will cancel all our other obligations and make sure we sit on the computer for you on date X" just because someone recommends it.

If I said that I cannot tell an exact ending date, it should have already implied that it is not so because I am undecided, but because I simply cannot tell when exactly starkad will find the time. There is no other plausible reason why I should withhold an exact date from users.

That is true, I just decided I'd share my thoughts. ^^ It's your website, do however you want to.

Once again, it is not a matter of "want", but "can". :mcsleepy:
A recommendation implies that I would have a choice in this matter, thus, could follow a recommendation, which I can't.
