And hm... find the anthill that they come from? I had something like that happen, every day our kitchen would be overrun by ants, for about a week. >.> Killed them little b@st@rds off!

As for the ants...you can put soapy water in a spray bottle and squirt the ants whenever you see them. The soapy water kills the ants and destroys their scent trails. Mint or citrus in the water is also good for repelling them.

You can also put some mint, lavender, or clove oil (or crushed leaves/flowers/cloves) around where the ants are coming in, as well as other possible entrances. They smell good, and are really good at deterring ants from entering.

And make sure you scrub really well where you saw the ants, to thoroughly get rid of their scent trails, all the way to where they're coming in. If they can still smell the trail, they'll continue to come.

we have a thing in the house that goes off every so often set at 24hrs... till the can runs out (once a month we get a new can) it's like repellent but it's up on a high ledge...

Nothing new here, though. Still making jewelry, and the Doctor Who ones have become so popular, that I've made lots more, and even more charms! (Rose, Amy, Rory, Clara, Donna, Sarah Jane, River Song, the Doctor Who logo, etc...)

I might sell them on Etsy, but I've also been told to put them on eBay.

I would stick with Etsy, since it's a site specifically for people who make their own crafts to sell. eBay, you'd be less likely to find someone interested in them because that's not the main purpose of the site; people go to eBay to buy pre-owned items, and Etsy for crafted items.

Ack, poor Kaia! Make sure you take care of it properly so you don't end up with a permanently damaged ankle like I did. If you don't have an ACE bandage or brace, try layering a few pairs of socks. Make sure you use ice only, not heat (until after it's had a few days to start healing). Keep it raised as much as possible. And keep off it if you can!

As for Etsy vs eBay... eBay charges a fee for listing, as well as an additional fee if the item sells, so you'd be making far less money than the final price. I don't think Etsy charges, though I haven't used it so I'm not sure...it make charge a small fee, I don't know.
