(I'm upset about that already and I still have a year and a month left with them until I go off to Uni)

Awww, don't feel bad about it *pats shoulder* I think leaving friends and moving on to a new environment is just a normal phase of life. You could always have tons of ways to still communicate with them (mobile, skype, facebook) and who knows, some of your friends might even go to the same uni just like you. So don't worry too much about it ^__^

and thank youuuuu for always surprising me with items on my trade box. You are really sweet and thoughtful

Hello Justine, don't think that your friends are more academically better than you. It would only lower your self esteem. Try to focus on things that you have an advantage from them :)
