That's because men apparently don't know how women act in real life. The film industry is male dominated, there are barely any women (especially those that aren't white) directors/script writers for anything besides chick flicks. If they made women more realistic acting you'd probably like the characters more.
There's a series on tropes of women in media:
#1 The Manic Pixie Dream Girl

#2 Women in Refrigerators (This one is probably the most disturbing trope)

#3 The Smurfette Principle

#4 The Evil Demon Seductress

#5 The Mystical Pregnancy (This one also freaks me out)

#6 The Straw Feminist (This one pisses me off sooo much)

I really like most things by Joss Whedon. He has strong and stupid women in his shows/movies. But he does fall to some of the stereotypical tropes. Especially the mystical pregnancy and the evil demon seductress.
I often wish to kick people in the face. I can get my leg pretty high up but I am really short. So unless they're laying down I fail. I can kick people in the groin though.
I just want to shank everyone like that. So many shankings lol.
We had fried mac and cheese balls as an appetizer. Kevin had an elk burger with Grippo (it's a barbque chip around here) seasoned fries. I had pulled pork with garlic and herb fries.
It was all good, but my pulled pork was a little dry for my taste. And the barbque sauce they had on the table was really thin so it fell off a lot.
