@Whimsical No, I think they are just against getting another pet to care for. My mom was probably worried that she would end up having to take care of it~ But the expenses probably didn't help the decision making...

Once you move out I bet you can get a dog then can't you? You might even be able to adopt one of the ones at your shelter~

So sorry for not being here these past few days lol

Anyways, speaking of pets, I would really love to own a pet dog but my mom was still traumatized about dogs when my little sister got bitten by it and was rushed to the hospital several years ago. And for a cat, I would also love to have a new one, since my pet cat was a bit old already. I believe, he's 7 years old!
