I just read the cutest SHORT Dickens book about a man who adopted a deaf girl and treated her like a proper person. It's called 'Dr. Marigold', and I was surprised to read such a book written in that era.

ROFL! i decided since i couldn't find a pattern for a qi pao or even a chinese-styled shirt, that i'm going to do the kimono type one i posted. but their brocade was on sale, so i picked out one i loved last year and i'm going to use that instead of red. it's aqua and fuchsia *yes, pink ugh...i hate pink xD but i love the aqua*
