No idea, I still think this whole this is completely stupid.

I ate like ice cream and stuff, soups... yogurt! applesauce! I wasn't really aware during it but apparently I freaked out really bad, and that asshole told me I needed help. Lol, f*ck you, you look like Frankenstein so whatever!

Requiring health insurance isn't stupid. Car insurance is required, and people are much more important than cars.

The whole idea is why pay for the not joining up fee and get nothing out of it other than less money when you can get health insurance, pay for that and actually get something from it.

Though I do wish that instead of doing this they had just made like Canada and provide FREE healthcare for everyone and just raised the taxes some. We'd still be saving bookoos of money on pregnant women and infant care alone.

Pretty positive we're going to move to Canada after we both get our degrees.

Yeah, I guess I'm going to have to stock up on mushy food. lol What an asshole. You should have reported him, no one should tell someone like that unless they're like about to hurt themselves and/or others.

Apparently I make too much for food stamps and a discount doctor place so I'm sure I won't get cheap insurance... and most of the places I've called charge a shit load and my job is stupid because I'm 'part time' even though I work close to 40 hours some weeks, so they won't give me health insurance. It's just a headache, I wouldn't have minded them just leaving it alone.

I want to move to a remote forest area and raise sheep. Not really but... somewhere other than where I'm living right now.

He really was rude! Then he like ruptured both veins in my arm because he didn't know how to give a fucking shot like... okay!

If you don't mind me asking, how much do you make? I assumed you made minimum wage?

Food stamps is really resistant to giving them to people without kids. Which is really terrible, us childfree people have to eat too!

I'm really glad they changed it because now not as many people will die because they can't afford basic medical care. It's a terrible epidemic.

Don't worry, in a few years they'll have the kinks worked out and then everyone can get affordable healthcare. It's just hard right now because the Republicans are constantly throwing hissy fits about not getting their way instead of trying to make the program better.

I definitely don't want to do that. If I ever get rich enough to have a vacation home I might like one in the deep forest. As long as I had lots of things to entertain me as well. lol

Wow. Maybe he was new? It's no excuse, but I can't imagine someone with that bad of bedside manner.

Well, 7.25 is the minimum wage for every one except waitresses. So at least that. Did you guys go in together for food stamps? Because we did the first time we applied and got them. But since you're both working it's hard to tell. You could always go to those churches with food banks and stuff.

Oh man, me too. I'm sorry that I've been a no show. I've had tons of homework and activities. It sucks.

I hope you're feeling better and not drowny!

Ah. Well that's probably why then. When we got food stamps Kevin only made like 8 dollars an hour and I wasn't working. Thankfully he had some money saved up.

Aw, I'm sorry dear. What happened?

It just sucks cause I'm at the very very bottom of the 'making it' range, even though I'm really not. Oh well.

Just me being overly sensitive and stupid.

I know that feeling. Do you have a budget? I mean, you won't be like rolling in dough, but it helps even out the money throughout the month.

Aw, you're not stupid! You shouldn't feel bad for being sensitive. Your feelings are valid. Do you want to talk about it?

It's hard to do.

What I do is I try to figure out how much money I'll have each month first. That's pretty easy for me because I get a set check, but with you you can average your pay (important! because you have taxes taken out and you don't actually get all of your pay) for each week based on the amount of hours that you usually get. It's better to estimate low, so if you USUALLY get 30 hours a week you should say you get like 25 or so, that way you don't spend as much.

Then you figure out the average of each bill. For me I have rent, water, electricity/gas, gas for the car, and food. Plus misc expenses. You probably have more bills than me since you have a car. So figure out how much your half/what ever percentage of the bills you pay is, and then subtract all the bills from your pay. What you have left is for whatever. When I was getting a weekly/biweekly check I'd take a percentage out of each check so I wouldn't go over. It sounds complicated, but once you start doing it it's easier to keep track of.

Coupons are very helpful. So are sales! Especially on non perishable items. I buy all of my non perishable items in bulk if I can. It might take a nice chunk out of your pocket now, but you'll save money in the long run.

Well, I worry a lot too! There's nothing wrong with getting worried sometimes. I freak out over quite a few things too. Is M being annoying again? Did he do something to make you paranoid?
