I know I heard they're growing lungs, but it's still a work in process, last I heard they were using a pig to test this scientifically-grown lung to see if it works

but yeah, in chess club, though, we talked about anime and video games more than we actually played chess though
it was fun times, but that one guy was super creepy, and I'm pretty insecure and the only female in the club.. so I stopped going but I still hung out with the others that went to the club (just tried to avoid him...)

have either of you heard of an anime called 'Plastic Nee-san'? my brother showed it to me, it's hilarious, random, and... kinda wrong on a few different levels. but I'd recommend it, they have the entire show on youtube, it's only (I think 24 mins, since each ep is only around 2 mins long)

Like Curiosity on Mars, has found proof of an old lake bed on Mars, although it's been known Mars was once wet like Earth for a while, as well as knowing there is water ice on the poles. However, Curiosity drilled a hole and took some samples and found organic compounds!

Also, in Antarctica, scientists have been drilling down to a lake under the ice, which was covered millions of years ago... and when they got there, they found life, some shrimp like creatures that have been evolving independently (no outside influences since they've been under ice) for millions of years.

Also, another discovery from Rosetta (that rover that we landed on a passing comet) has found that the water make up in the comet is nothing like that on Earth, so that defeats the theory that Earth got it's water from meteorites. Oh, also, the water that was found on Mars, is also unlike anything on Earth~ Super neat stuff!

Someday, if we don't destroy ourselves in the process of becoming a Type 2 civilization. We are nearing the cusp of becoming a Type 1 civilization, all we really need to do is drop our dependance on oil. With the growing green energy markets, we are getting closer and closer to relying on solar power and stuff. Though we still a way to go before living within our means and harmonizing with nature on a global scale, we are getting closer though!

The way for people to live well fed and have nice places to live with little or no utility bills is out there and in some places, already in use... however we need to break our materialism and dependance on money (greed). A tiny home can be built to be super efficient and hooked up to septic and well water (no sewer or water bills), and then have solar panels installed for their electricity. Have a garden to grow their own fruits and vegetables, there are ways to set it up that it requires little maintenance and produce lots of food. Then if you want meat, either grow it or hunt it.

Nan, it would be possible for you to build your own tiny house, with kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, etc, for less than the price of a new car, which you can buy a car and haul it around if you put it on a trailer, which most people do. Then you can grow your own food and really never have another bill again. Except for your phone bill and insurance. Though if you settle down some where and get that garden system set up, build your tiny house, and keep some chickens around for eggs and meat, if you can't fish, and there, no bills. Even with solar panels you can have TV and there are ways to get internet for free, even high speed, though it's not easy and takes know how, which I don't fully have... but so it's not like you'd live like some hermit out in the woods away from everything, unless you wanted that.

Which is what I do what, sounds so nice and peaceful... just have a nice computer to play games! XD
