I met a guy on the Internet once, but it never went past the "friends" stage. He fell in love and married with a friend of mine we also had met on the Internet.
-___-

Your story is cute though :) I really hope it goes well because he seems like a very sensible and very great guy.

Mother would never believe that. She more or less monitors my periods. You wouldn't believe how often I heard her ask "you didn't have your period this month yet did you?!"
Oh well, I'm leaving in 10 days, I've been taking it for 3 months and she never noticed. I should survive.

A lot of my online friends don't make it past friends eithers.

It was the first time I've ever met up with a male online friend and accepted an offer to stay at his place. It was fun though. It was the first time I had ever travelled to Canberra.

He is sometimes sensible and sometimes great =A=;

If only my mother remembered my periods for me. I always forget mine. In fact, I'm so forgetful that this month I actually put the first day of my cycle down on my iphone calender. Just another 10 days of secrets! They should be easy to hide though. At least if you were me they would. I have a whole drawer of pills and drugs for my use because I'm sickly sick. If I threw in 'the pill' mum wouldn't notice at all. Then again my mother doesn't read english well.

/ flops into thread
I'm so tired.
I really hate visiting american apparel. I just want to buy everything j _ j
But it's so expensive

But it's sad! I loved him!

I did meet up with a few male friends from the Internet but they always came to my place and in groups.
My current boyfriend invited me to spend the night at his place less than one week after we met and I said yes.

My body doesn't let me forgetting about my periods. For some reason, I've always known exactly at what point of my cycle I was. My body is really practical.

I never ever take meds. The pill is the only thing I take. Except painkillers during awful cramps, which doesn't happen anymore since I've started taking the pill.

I've never ever set a foot in an american apparel store XD
But I'm afraid for my shopping budget when I'll be in Japan ...

Ok, that is sad. Ouch :(
I've only loved one person and it sucked.

My friends were incredibly worried but new places are fun aren't they? c:
I don't think I pay enough attention to my body to notice even if it glowed with red neon letters saying 'period incoming' =A=;

I've only ever used painkillers for when I got my wisdom teeth extracted. They knocked me out real good. I mostly have antihistamines in my drawer and some stray flu tablets. I usually have some for period pain lying around but I don't take those.

I really like American Apparel pants. I hear their customer service in American is horrific and trying to get a return is like trying to wring a buff guy's neck. The girls in the Sydney store were surprisingly accommodating c: Better than the service in the Topshop store where every one acts like they're too good/pretty to serve you =A=;

What do you plan to get in Japan? I would break my budget on Lolita fashion (maybe) and also cute objects. I find Japan sizing difficult. A lot of things come in OSFA and I'm taller than average so things have a tendency to come up short and too big in the bust.

Will you have time to sight see before you work?

I always think my period's coming 1-2 days earlier than it really is, and I prep, and nothing comes out. And then I get my period. T_T

@Dream:
Being home schooled isn't a common thing here. Idk how common it is there. Are you too far away from educational facilities?
Sometimes the country is fun and you get to do fun activities with your group. Usually when we go a couple hrs into central NSW activities such as archery, rock climbing, canoeing, caving, hiking and super dark night games are involved! Go and see the stars.

Also, you're now eligible for my knuffel aid if you choose to seek it c:
Nope, we do it because a lot of doors were closing in our life, (and the school had lots of issues, it went through lots of principals) and since we were in a small town it was the only elementary school. Now we've moved years later and there is a really great school district--so I'd told. But I'd really rather not go back because I have friends I've met through homeschool stuff.
It's really common in the U.S. but still not even close to the norm. People still think it's weird not to go the public school route, but that's more because of a two-parents working thing than anything else. People see their kids at school as a freedom for them, and can't understand why someone would stay at home and be stuck with them. I can see why people feel this way, I'm sure my mom does, too, sometimes.
Those activities sound really neat! I've done archery before and it's really fun! ^^
@whoever suggested I should go on a mission trip: That's be nice, my church does have mission trips and lots of kids go.

Every day is surprise period day.
Luckily I usually get mine in the morn when I wake so I don't get hit randomly during the day as I'm out and about.
Although I've had mine since I was 16, it's so infrequent it's as if I don't really have it at all =A=;

Wait, what stickers !?
I would like CUTE STATIONARY and BERETS. I LOVE BERETS @A@

@Dream: Oh, I see. How do you meet people through home school? Do they send you homework via mail or do you look at the curriculum online or does a teacher come to your home? c:

It sounds interesting. We have an abundance of schools around here although they each have a ranking. People try to gain admission into higher ranking schools for better education, fellow students and the possibility of a better tertiary ranking after yr 12. So we're usually not too worried about admissions to public schools. there are also privates schools as well for the rich and for the religious.

I sent the trade c: Enjoy!

God, you're so lucky to have gotten it so late -___-

In France we don't really have this kind of problems with schools, everyone goes at the nearest school. Unless there's space in another school and special circonstances. Like, my mother was a teacher in elementary school and whenever she changed schools we changed along because it was more practical. In this case we were allowed special treatement but it rarely happens.
Problems start after elementary schools. Usually it goes fine and you either go to the nearest one or to a private (and expensive) one.
But it means that if a school is located in a "poor" neighborhood it can get a bad reputation and some parents don't want their kids to go there even though it doens't mean anything for their future. And then there's the elective trick, which usually solve the problem, the child just has to choose an elective that isn't offered in the nearest school and he automatically gets placed in another one. And the magic is done!

I honestly don't like being in love, it always has brought me more problems than solutions.

My friends don't seem to care much about the dangerosity of the places I go to and/or the dangerosity of my actions ...

As for stores, there's one called Etam where I always go because the service is just SO good. Yet, it's nothing, they just have a nice staff who like to chat with customers.

I love to look at Lolita fashion but I'd never wear it so I'm safe at least.
My problem with Japanese sizing is that I have a big bust so I already struggle finding stuff in European size ...

And yes I will! I don't have any work planned for now so I'll definitely have the time.

Yeh, but it kind of meant that I barely had time to properly hit puberty.
I barely have boobs!

We don't have any elective tricks. To gain admission into a higher ranked school, you have to get a specific test score in primary education or if it's one of those semi-selective school, they get broken up into a public and selective stream. Basically kids that did well in primary get shoved into classes together and poor-average kids that have a residential property in the designated zone automatically gain admission although there are some with exceptions (like me). I gained admission despite doing poorly in the 'selective school examination' because I submitted my national 'basic skills' test with my admission form and they took me in.

I may have been bad for me if I attended my local school as opposed to the speciality high school. I could've made the wrong friends, had poor teaching, disruptive class mates. Plus it's like this horribly ratchet all girls school =A=

Urgk, tell me about it :qsweat:
I'm rather cautious now that I've experienced first love and it ended terribly. Like so terribly you cannot imagine. I was so ill, hospitalised, depression, you name it and he broke up with 3 times before it ended properly. It was shit. Like really really shit.

Love felt good whilst it lasted though so I'm torn about that and the first year together was really enjoyable. We were able to do a lot things together, we even participated in a show and that was where I figured out I enjoyed dancing. Unfortunately that was all before I got sick so for another 6-ish months, I held onto someone who barely tried to understand what I was going through.

Lolita fashion is bad for my wallet. You can never have enough blouses in different neck lines, sleeve lengths and colours D: I have a blouse problem.
Give me some of them boobs @_@
I find a lot of OSFA items from Japan have 90-100cm as their bust measurement so maybe they'll fit? Especially dresses if you like dresses.

Any plans on what to see? I think trying on a yukata would be awesome!

Thanks so much! I bought a new little guy, he's in my sig. I love his last stage, although it'll be forever 'till I get there! XD
Homeschooling is fairly different throughout different states (some states require a transcript before even highschool, others only in high school, some may require certain kinds of curriculum or tests, I'm not sure.) and ours is pretty hands-off, which may be why so many people homeschool in my state. (We have to have all the usual credits in highschool, and send a transcript.)
Usually I meet people through my co-op (where parents or the occasional paid instructor teach kids academic or not-so-academic classes. [For example, I'm in a history class and an English class, and then I take mosaics.] and this co-op is pretty huge, there's a waiting list to get in!
Sometimes I meet people doing "normal" things XD like youth group at my church (with practically everyone public or maybe private schooled) or in the neighborhood or something. I've meet friends at Bible studies for homeschoolers, too.

I think they do send things through the mail in some instances, though that seems more like the process for a bedridden person who's still in public school. (My friend had a health issue that wouldn't allow her to go to school, they had a teacher tutor her and bring schoolwork.) Some people buy curriculum on their own (lots of people who are qualified to will write curriculum to sell) and assign it to their kids, some to co-ops more than once a week and it's almost like public school, some do programs completely on the computer. We're mostly the first one.
Lots of different kinds of people homeschool for different reasons, like some because their school wasn't doing so great, some because their kid wasn't doing great at school, some for health issues, some for disabilities or things like tics or autism.

Edit: I did my room, and yes, I think it's weird for the birdbath to be inside. However it's super cute and pretty, so I'll ignore it. XD
