KC - I will when she gets back! She's visiting her parents this week :P

Urban Myth - Yes! She did! It does have the effect of making him look permanently shocked in pixel form, but I love it.
I would tell her to look at her pixels to realise her power of art... But if that worked to make her realise I wouldn't have have the trouble I've had convincing her of her brilliance for the last 10 years...

We went to secondary school together. I met her when we were 15, and we're 25 now, so yeah, 10 years. I love her :qh:

That's awesome! I have some friends that I love that I've known since middle school. I should probably eventually go on my facebook and talk to them. ^^;

You guys are so lucky. The good ones moved away. The other friends turned on me. :mcmeh:

I don't feel like I have friends off line. But I have like tons of friends online so it doesn't bother me besides I feel a bit pathetic.

If I lived near you I'd totally be your friend in real life KC. XD But distance is an issue! D:

Yes, we are lucky, but if I hadn't made the effort to join kofk and she didn't come to live with me it would have been the same as everyone else.

True, one of my friends from middle school refused to call me because she didn't like my mom, but even after I told her she could call my cell she never did. :mcheh:

I'm in high school now, and I've had the same few friends over the years. Then last year most of them switched to different schools for the final years and I've suddenly had a feeling I never have before, of wanting to make new friends. I normally wouldn't even if they all left, but a couple of people have personalities I'm really attracted to, problem is I never have anything to say so I end up eavesdropping on them instead of talking to them :mcsweat:
I wish I could have more of an online life, it's where I'm comfortable, but I've a set time on the computer :mccry:

That's harder, to my mind. That's an ongoing, you have to live with it forever thing, instead of one single moment that's the exception instead of the rule.

It's nice to have a good online life, but making friends irl is very important and gives you skills you will probably value later. I mean, being comfortable is all very well, but you can end up staying in your comfort zone and never taking any challenges *shrugs*
