Yeah I donate mine every few years. I usually wait till it's long enough that I can't pull it through a hairtie in one pull. Then I go donate for my free haircut and get it cut just above my shoulders. I was thinking about letting it keep growing this time tho cause I've been taking good care of it so it's still really healthy and like no split ends. *_*
I suppose I'll see how I feel.

Last time I wimped out and was too nervous to get my hair cut to donate so my mom cut it. I felt really bad for awhile for just wasting it tho. :(

I donated blood twice while I was in high school. But both times they had trouble stopping the bleeding and the first time I passed out at the cheese and crackers table. @_@ I thought maybe that first time was cause I hadn't eaten much, but since they had trouble the second time too I haven't donated since.

I liked donating blood though because needles don't bother me. But I don't know that they'd even let me donate again since I had problems both times. They were reluctant the second time, haha.

Yeah I heard donating plasma is intense. I've never done it tho. @_@ I probably would have tried if they did it at school like the blood drive. But I'm too nervous to go donate at a hospital or something. ;_; (though I think you get money for plasma?)

I know that in most places you're not allowed to give blood if you're on antidepressants. I'm not sure why though (and why some allow it and others don't)
As for plasma. I've donated that before. It is indeed a larger needle and it takes a bit longer, so if you're not fond of needles, avoid it. If you're used to needles, no worries on that then.
I'm not sure what would happen if you have thin blood, but I know the process in a way 'thins out' the blood more (if that makes sense? Pardon my English, it's been a while) so I don't think that'd be the best idea for you Raine.
Other than that it differs for everyone. Since plasma puts less strain on the body it should be easier to give, except when I did it, it lowered my natural defences and I was ill for over a week by a cold that got out of hand (HIGH fever kinda stuff, hardly ever happens otherwise)
So yeah. Mixed opinions on the plasma donation...

Yeah. I guess the vacation was a pretty good stress reliever but them I came home and it all flooded in and I didn't realize just how much there was and..yikes.
