I still haven't managed to get them done :/ the earliest appointment is next week. Meanwhile I managed to get muscle spasms in my back which have been going for three weeks now... I'm on cocodamol and it's not going away :/ I feel like I'm on a really bad health run right now. On the other hand work's going okay, I started a new professional portfolio and Facebook page for my writing so I'm hoping to get more freelance commissions.

Ack, hopefully you think of something before you have to go back. Will it be something that affects your school work?

Back problems are the worst :mcsad: also three weeks sounds too long to just hope it's a small crick that'll right itself, are you going to have some tests done for that? I didn't know you wrote freelance, that is so cool! I hope you get diagnosed and get better asap and get plenty of commissions! :mchappy:

Not particularly. It's just that I can't use any toilets at school so I have to hold it in until I get home :mcsweat: even if I could go I'd miss half my lessons. It's been diagnosed thankfully, we went to the doctor a couple days back and he said I'm a 'classic case' of irritable bowel syndrome. He prescribed a couple of tablets and a syrup and said it'd take a couple of weeks for the effects to establish but there's only two weeks left before school starts so I'm really praying it sets before then. :qwor: I'm to continue the medication for a month and then pay him another visit. Unfortunately it's a 'syndrome' so it's chronic in most cases and I'll probably have to manage it long-term, but I'm really praying against that too.

The doctor saw it was spasms right away and gave me medication for it, but it was supposed to go away in two weeks so I guess it didn't work. I'm going in again on Friday night to see if they can give me something else. Actually I read today that spasms can be caused by the development of an arthritic condition, which is interesting. The problem with my wrists that I'm getting blood tests for is suspected to be a form of arthritis, so I hope they're all linked and we can treat them all at the same time.

Yeah, I write and take pictures XD I applied for a position with a big site recently but I haven't heard back from them :< I already emailed once to give them a nudge and ask what they thought of my application, so I don't know whether to ask again. It's been long enough that they should have got back to me so I don't know what to think :/

Ohh, I know someone who has IBS. Just don't be silly like her. She knows that certain foods always make hers worse, and she eats them anyway. I know they taste good, but look after yourself XD Hopefully it will clear up nice and quickly for you.

Bump with a new poll!

My back is getting better. It's not hurting so much every day. Yesterday I made it through without painkillers for the first time~

Yay, a new poll :mcglee:
That's good :mchappy: since you're improving you're sure to gradually get better! What about your wrists? Is it close to figuring out what's wrong? :mcconf:
There's not much fatty or spicy food I'm used to anyway, so I don't think I'm going to end up doing that :mcsweat: my mom switched me to homeopathy. The first couple of days it seemed to work, a lot better than the allopathy. But apparently homeopathy makes your condition worse before it can get better, these past couple of days were worse. The fact that it's following the pattern probably means I should go with this :mcdead:

Ouch, I hope it starts working soon then! At least once you've tried it you'll know either way.

I'm waiting to get my test results... it's really annoying X_X technically they are available now, but you can only call between 2pm and 4.30pm to get them. I finish lunch at 2pm, and then I'm working through to 6pm. And they can't be collected on weekdays. So annoying! On Thursday I'm working out of the office so I'm hoping I'll get some time to myself in the afternoon when I can call.

That's a very small window for calls :mcsweat: and why not on weekdays? Ridiculous.
As of now it's not really working, but he said to give it time. Even the allopathy doctor said to give his medicines a month's time before coming back to him. My mom had me ditch his medicines in two weeks, but school was starting so I could not wait a month anyway.

I finally managed to get through, aaaand my blood tests were completely clear :/ now I have to wait until the end of the month for the next appointment that I could get. This is why I really can't wait to work from home again - no more waiting around for so long.

Ah, that's so annoying :( I get that medicine takes a while to work, but it's too bad that it would be needing to take a while now when you need it to work soon.

Bumpy~

Trying to figure out how to get everything done for all my clients before I head out for a week on next Wednesday O_O Kind of should have planned further in advance but I didn't realise how close it was. A week without internet and computer access ;___; I am so not prepared.

'Lo! Sorry I've been gone for so long. I've been busy doing other things (like playing Pokemon).

Sorry to hear that you've both been having health problems. I hope things start going well for you now.

jacobgrey, I really like your avatar!! :mclove:
