Islam is very peaceful, but also strict.
And it's not that they want to be controlling, it's just that they don't
want their child trailing off into the unknown. And by unknown I mean
not-Islamic-stuff. A lot of the time, the mother will pick who the child
will marry. I remember my ex telling me if his mom picked a woman
for him he would marry her, just because his mother said so. I thought
that was sweet and psychotic at the same time. If my mom told me I was
gonna marry some guy, I'd be like AHAHAHA kiss my ass, mom. 8u
Islam is also very respectful of women. People in America and other
countries often misunderstand and label Muslim women as prisoners
when it's not even like that. Like, in Arabia, they don't allow women
to drive. It's not because they're less-than, it's because men in
Arabia drive like fuckwads and it's unsafe for a woman to drive.
So when a woman has to go somewhere, a man will escort her. They have
to wear hijab [ and other cover-ups ] because only their husband and children
can see what she looks like, and other random men on the street
shouldn't be pleasured by seeing her uncovered, etc. It's not a prisoner
thing at all. Muslim women are just as happy as the men. Although I personally
would not enjoy that lifestyle.

is Paint Tool SAI. -.0 Which is very inconvenient right now. Lol.
