But man I'm exactly the same. I've errr had a similar experience, close family member as well, it's not something I like to talk about in detail let alone at all (I think I've maybe only told two people).. so I seriously feel you, to say the least. It's scary as hell, and it disturbs the fuck out of me to see that sort of thing romanticized or glossed over. I hate it, I hate it, hate it hate it hate it. It makes me physically sick. Honestly, anything realistically portrayed I tend to completely feel it as well. Maybe that's why I have such vivid nightmares. <_____<;;;
