I love it when a games that good that you can just be immersed. I haven't found one in quite some time. I was hooked on Skyrim for about a month but now i'm very meh about it. Just doesn't last for me like it used to.

We made our trip today. Munchers was silent the whole way but Ollie and Sif alternated meow's pretty much the whole way. It was sad and hilarious at the same time. They both have different meows, of course, and they seriously went one after the other. It was so hard to not cry and laugh at them.

We've been in the new room for probably 4-5 hours and Sif and Munchers only recently got out of their carries and started to wander around. Poor Ollie is still not sure and in her carrier.

Hi Kimi! Yes, I agree! In fact..no, kidding. :mccute:

They're all still hiding under the bed. They only come out if I keep the door closed. Did I mention we moved in with a huge black dog? They've never seen dogs and so they're terrified. I feel like a bad mommy but what could I do?

Also, so things are tough here. Grandpa has decided that he's not going to do dialysis anymore and so that means he's probably not going to last much longer. I need to get the house cleaned up here so family can visit and such and omg. They have every cupboard, cabinet, counter, under...it's all stuffed with stuff. And to make things worse? Grandma won't let anyone get rid of anything. What am I supposed to do?? :qcry:

Awww poor babies!
I like to think my kitties would be resilient. 2 of them were tossed home to home before we rescued them so I think they'd be fine. Kari was from the humane society but she was really small so she'd probably freak out a little. And Mint was born here so she'd probably be upset.

But my cats live with 4 large labs. So they're used to dogs.

Oh no ;__; sorry things there are rough. That sounds stressful.
Idk what to do with people who won't get rid of things. If you figure out tell me cause my mom has a problem lol.

We have 2 large sheds PACKED with stuff. The garage is stuffed. The laundry room is half filled with enough room to walk in to do laundry.. and we have a spare room full of stuff that we could use for a person since we have someone living on the living room couch.

But she won't get rid of things! She says 'I need to look at everything and decide what I want to keep. And then I don't want to get rid of some things cause I might want to decorate with them later'.
@_@

I mean she does switch things out a lot so at least she uses a lot of things. But the stuff in the garage and sheds haven't been touched in years and I think it's dumb.

... LOL. I'm not gonna lie, I have pretty much the same mentality as your mother. You never know when you're going to need something! Then there are all these things I keep for sentimental value.

I know this can only take me on the downward spiral where I end up with 50 sacks of flour in my attic, but I can't help myself!

I know everyones different but it's really hard for me. When I say it's a lot I mean that in every cabinet door you open, every shelf has a complete set of dishes. No one in the world needs, literally, 25 different, complete sets of dishes. In the closet in the room were staying? We cleaned out the closet and most of it was garbage, literal garbage. Old chocolate boxes, old wrapping from containers. I won't let your mind wander too much but yes, I had to get the vacuum to clean the rat poop. They lived through the depression and my grandma did too. This is what they do. They keep e.v.e.r.y.t.h.i.n.g. because "one day" ...

Anyway! We've made headway and I can retreat to our room because while it is a bit cluttered, at least it's not full of bugs and rat poop. :qn: :qn:

Eeek Mol, that's gross D:

I hang on to a lot of stuff, but like, trash? It's so gone. Who needs icky things everywhere >.> *is a collector but also an obsessive cleaner*
And if I can 'rehome' something I feel better about letting it go :mclaugh: Outgrown clothing is given either to a younger skater or to my grandparents, because their retirement home has a program that gives the clothing they collect to refugees.

Well, I also hold on to some things that some people may consider trash. But nothing bad enough to attract rats! x___o;

I sometimes keep small keepsake things. Like the badges from all the anime cons I went to. Or like I have movie tickets littered through my room cause for some reason I don't throw them away. (maybe because I only went to one movie until I was in highschool so it seemed so special to me and now I want to remember each one? idk?)

But I go through my stuff every year or so and get rid of a lot of it.
I kinda regret the last time I did tho cause I had boxes of drawings on random pieces of paper as well as sketchbooks from highschool. I threw them all out cause they were really bad lol.

I keep all the old music books and sheets from school too. But there's not many of them so I don't think there's a problem.
But like otherwise if I haven't laid eyes on it for over a year and it's not super sentimental or something I give it away.

My mom seems to just gain more stuff lol.
We have a ton of dishes so I kinda relate to that. I have so many pots and pans I can't fit them all in my kitchen so some go in the garage. (but I also live with 6 boys who don't clean much so those extra dishes and pans save my life sometimes).

Eww that's gross about the poo tho. :( I'm glad you can retreat to your room at least.

I keep plenty of things out of sentimentality too but I just can't deal with clutter so i'm really organized. Everything has it's place and I suppose that makes me sound like a perfectionist but that's not the case really just..I dunno, the less I have the more space I've got.

Things are kind of settling down. We got our last delivery and all the new shelves and things are built. Now to organize! I love to do it, crazy as it may seem. Grandpa designed this house and built it himself. Grandpa is claustrophobic and so every room has a door to the outside and every wall is mostly windows. Not a lot of wall space!

How are you guys?! Autumn is coming!!
