They look adorable and they're also quite difficult to make. I tried doing it once. I had a lot of fun but you really need a lot of practice to make it.
I agree with you on red beans. I have had the time to get used to it and sometimes you find things in which the texture is easier to bear but you can never know.

Well, thing is, in Japan, food in restaurant is usually high quality compared to European standards. I mean even the cheapest sushi tastes better than what I had in France but yeah some restaurants are crazy expensive and it's not always sushi. Mostly it depends on where it is located and how it's branded. Like, the oldest the tradition the more expensive it gets. But the trick to go to these places for lunch where you can actually afford it, the price of a full course lunch can be half the price for the same course for dinner.
Kimono are the same, you can find real ones for pretty cheap if you know where to look. I own a vintage kimono I bought for 1000 yens. Obi can start at 500. But if you go to speciality stores it can get really crazy.

As for the usually really expensive stuff, I'd say fruits and vegetables. It's not really expensive per say, just really expensive when compared to Europe. Foreign things and brands are usually also very expensive.

I have resorted to talk walks.

Here has been sunny for a few days, it feels a bit strange so I am going to take advantage of it while I can.

Talk walks sound a lot more fun than lifting iron though ;-;
I do a lot of the classes my gym offers because at least then it's more engaging.
I also lift baby weights with all these muscular men around me. It's very intimidating.

Is being sunny not a norm this season in Japan?

Lol! Eternal tundra. I'm such a baby. I complain when it's 15 C. I can't imagine surviving anything colder. I've endured -1 C nights but in a valley area so it wasn't windy. If it was -1 C in Sydney with our crazy winds, it'll hurt and everyone will chuck a sickie.

It is indeed more fun but at the same time it's also less efficient. Because walks always end up with a stop at a local coffee shop and sometimes sweets XD

I have absolutely no idea but it's fall and there's a typhoon close by so I was surprised.

Gym sessions always end with a toffee milkshake for me!
Maybe I'm not doing this health thing right. Haha. I need to get a compression bandage for my knee :( It's been throbbing since my gym session on Wednesday. I'm excited for yoga tomorrow! The classes are always more fun than lifting weights.

I can see why, it's less repetitive and it somehow feels like you're moving your body more.

This week-end I went shopping with my BF and ended up doing a lot more exercise than I thought.
(And I also left with my first heels ever, the BF is both happy and not very much because now I'm a lot taller than he is ^^)
