Ah, I see!the topic was topicalisation of the doubled (pseudo-)infitive but it requires a lot of work one doesn't have time for during bachelor. we only have 3 months from the moment we decide on the topic. I'll see if I can take it for my master's thesis, must discuss it with our syntactics.

It sounds like an interesting topic.ah that actually sounds like the bachelor thesis here: your problem would be the "tonification" of stops with it's reasons and perspectives. at least if I had to formulate a problem out of what you say it's be identical to the formulation of phenomenon.
Hmm, I think I misunderstood what you meant by problem. I thought you were saying that it needs to be fixed.is there a possibility for you to record the speakers?
Maybe if I can find some native Japanese speakers. It'd be simple enough to have a Japanese speaker record some Japanese words with various stops and to look for voice bar in Praat.
