It's been a bit of a shock seeing as how I didn't even know it was going to happen! I don't think my hair does grow fast unfortunately.

Just took the puppies outside - they're so funny. I wish it wasn't getting so cold already. They say this winter is supposed to be pretty bad.

Yeah, they're hilarious. Charlie's little legs are still not super strong and he runs and falls down a lot. There are tons of leaves and fallen pine needles and he loves getting into them - silly little buddy. He picks up sticks that are as big as he is and carts them around too.

I'm happy we got them. I haven't had a dog in probably more than ten years.

Yeah, we have three cats and sixteen chickens and about a dozen fish :D

I went to the doctor the other day for a med refill and checkup and they made me do this depression questionnaire and I told the nurse we'd just gotten puppies and it was probably a real bad time to figure out if I was depressed or not, lol.

Are they barn kitties? Sixteen chickens omg do you live on a farm? Do you always have fresh eggs? A dozen fish! We have about that many fish too - they're Alan's tho - he's the fish guy.

Nah, indoor cats They don't seem to have any interest in being outdoors - Samantha's only been outside once as far as we know; she fell out a window one night when she leaned on the screen too hard and it broke xD She just waited on the neighbor's porch until we found her in the morning. Rascal was a stray, but she's only been out a couple times since we've had her; both on accident when she went through a door that's not usually open and found herself outside. She just sniffs around for a little bit before coming right out. Checkers was abandoned in the street at five weeks old and hasn't been out since! He's a silly little scaredy cat and seems to think the outdoors is better at a distance xD - which is nice.

I guess it's technically a farm, but the only farm animals we have so far are the chickens We got half of them this summer, so they're not old enough to lay yet, but soon! Then we should have lots of eggs. Already in the summer we have way more than we can use xD Dad sells the extras to his friends and we give some to my grandparents.
There's a barn that the chickens live in, a smaller one that we use as a wood shed, several fields, and two ponds. Dad's been researching other animals off-and-on: bees, alpacas, goats, livestock guardian dogs...but hasn't really decided on anything for sure. We're planning to expand the garden and put in an orchard, though And solar panels!

I like fish, they're soothing to watch and easy to care for

Sorry I poofed! Alan got home from work and we had to run to do grocery shopping. We're having a halloween get together / celebrating some birthdays on saturday and I had to get things to make all sorts of stuff. I'll be sure to post pictures as long as all my plans don't sink.

Aww, your kitties sound sweet. I had a kitty named Samantha when I was younger. She was all black and had extra toes. She would use those toes to knock things off tables and such..little turkey.

Well your farm maybe not farm sounds neat. I've never really heard of guardian dogs? What does that mean and entail? Alpacas, goats and bees!~ Bees sound terrifying but I think one day I want to maybe try to have a few apiaries just like...real far from the house. :P

I really want to have goats one day. I want to have a greenhouse and grow herbs and things year round and make goat milk soaps and possibly essential oils and rose water.

What do you grow or plan to grow in your garden? And the orchard! I can't wait to grow apples and whatever else will grow here in Wisconsin.

Yeah, just took the pups out. Cami is doing better going outside so that's really good news! Charlie is a super derpmonster who pretty much always is going to fall down if he runs - so, bad mommie that I am, I make him run a lot, haha!

Cami just had a sneeze fit. It was one of the cutest things i've ever witnessed in my life.
