I think I heard a statistic that 1 in 25 people are sociopaths. If that holds any credency, it might explain the lack of empathy. Otherwise, I think with how many people there are, and how much death and inhumanity we are exposed to each day, people are becoming more and more de-sensitized to their fellow man's suffering.

I feel like I give more than I get too often, though. I've been trying to be more sparring with my resources, emotionally. I feel like I get tired out too fast if I don't try and disassociate myself sometimes. I wonder how many other people are like this. :/ People are sad. I am sad panda.

I find it hard to separate myself, too. If you don't have to see the person again, then meh. I usually try to look at most interactions like that. Am I gonna have to deal with this assfuck again? Should I use my energy on them?

We lose a lot of nuances when we eliminate body language and tone, and I think that leads to a lot of misunderstandings. Especially when we're communicating in simple thumbs up and downs and no real discussion. It would have been better if your sister could hear why, instead of just "don't like". It can be pretty jarring. I hope she's doing better `-`

Bluntness is very easy to misinterpret haha. I appreciate it, though. I have a tendency to be too flowery.
Honestly, I think I've been addicted to internet since I was 13 and I discovered iSketch. I got my start online playing pictionary type games, mhmm. There was another one, ink something, that was also gud.
I want to play those games still but I am at a disadvantage without a tablet.
