Yep, even though according to the bible (or just the christian faith) you're not supposed to celebrate until December (I think).
I wonder what the event will be this year.

Kuuki, maybe where you are XD I like to give my holidays their time and not overlap.
And Becca ^^; neither of those things are true.

You're supposed to start celebrating the first day of the advent period, which is now always on a sunday and which happens to be on November 29th this year.
That's at least how it was done in my catholic village back in France.
You're also supposed to put on the tree on the 24th and leave it on until the day of Epiphany (which no one does anymore though ^^)
In Japan they start building up the hype as soon as Halloween is over (and sometimes even before).
Christmas here is mostly just a huge excuse for businesses to make a little more money. But at least it's pretty and they own the commercial side of things. Then again Christmas has absolutely nothing to do with Japan except for the few Christians here.

Hello all. I will be doing the Thanksgiving thing and the list comes up tomorrow! (hopefully!) If for some reason I actually miss Thanksgiving I will still e giving out gifts/prizes in celebration of the holiday, though not everyone celebrates the holiday.
Sicne you guys are getting closer but have having such a hard time here is the 3rd hint with the previous hints:
1. Something you see everyday
2. If you know what it is, it is something pretty
3. Blue in color
Good luck!
P.S. My new lolita dress comes in tomorrow :D

Is it Knuffel's background/wallpaper? Could have sworn I said sky earlier...
And yeah, what Kuuki said, advent doesn't start until after thanksgiving XD
But yes, they all have to sell their stuff so start selling it as soon as possible.

It depends on the years though because churches definitely starts celebrating Christmas on the first sunday of advent, which sometimes is in december but sometimes also on the last days of november.
Actually, everything surrounding Christmas isn't in the Bible, because no one knows when the Christ was actually born. Pretty much everything is tradition so it's possible that with different churches and branches come different ways of diong things.
(also you got me interested so i'm researching ^^)
@Kya: Are you by any chance talking about Kofk's background ? XD
(the only blue thing I can see right now is my garbage box and while the blue really is pretty I doubt it's that ^^)
Don't worry, I think everyone of us (even the ones who don't celebrate it) realize that Thanksgiving is busy :)
And, can I see a picture of the dress? I love lolita dresses but I know for a fact that their cut usually don't fit me.

An eye? Though not all are blue, but they are very pretty :)
@Kuuki, if you find out anything interesting do say it here!
My sister and I have always wanted to get a lolita dress, but they are just so expensive here :/
