I'd've found it adorbs too if it was a real tree, like a bonsai... but there's something about putting tinsel on a tiny tree with tinsel foliage that feels kind of pointless. :mcheh:

Aaaah so you enjoy your free days, good for you! :D
You only get new clothes on Dussehra? Does that mean you are only allowed to get new clothes then or do you just get them as gifts then?

I am honestly too lazy to decorate on my own. I used to love doing it, but now it's more like "ugh do I really have to help?"

We have a plastic tree, so it's always the same height :D I'm a little taller than it now.
That may also be my christmas present for my mum for next year, because we've had this one for ages and it's really tattered and can't stand on its own anymore.

LMAO Nan it's just a cultural thing, nothing you can do about it.

I could have been the tree!! YOU DON'T KNOW ME!!

The food is the best part of Christmas, really. My inlaws had Mexican food one year and I was mortified. "We're having a Mexican Christmas" lololol

Eva, decorated with bulbs and lights and glittery things XD

We had a hot stone dinner a few years back and it was so disappointing bc it takes ages and you're already sitting at the table. Waiting. And then the strips of meat are so thin and you sit there for half an hour and you're just like "ugh really omg I'm fed up GUYS I'M FULL I'LL DO SOME STUFF" and you go back to the kitchen an hour later to sneak some snacks

GOOD I WAS A BIT WORRIED FOR A MOMENT THERE
Well they do it here, but honestly, buying a tree every year is soooo expensive. You can buy a plastic tree with the same height for twice as much, and use it for more than ten years. Also, all of the needles fall off of your dumb real tree, and it's sticky, and... It's really not all it's made out to be :'D

I love Mexican food. Mexican food on Christmas however is like... scariledge. Christmas food in my family has always been ham, mashed potatoes, stuffing, casseroles and pies, lots and lots of pies. Mexican food... psh!

Sacrilege? Really? It's just food. :D

I've never really had Mexican food. We don't have a lot of Mexican restaurants around here.

I don't think I've ever used it XD

I bought chocolate omnomnom
The lady asked me if I wanted a receipt and I said "No thank you" and she just stared at me. So I looked back. "You sure you don't want a receipt?"
Like lady, I said no. I literally only bought chocolate, and it'll be gone tomorrow. :'D
