Hahaha xD I would like for ears as well... but I doubt it, because that would mean the other item has to be a skin that matches. And I think the chance of getting a skin this year is low.. :'c

@Weave convo: Weaves are basically extensions, and yes, some can be washed and some cannot. Though not all are sewn into your hair. Some are glued with this weird gel/hair gluey stuff that's for quicker fixes and not long lasting uses. It is common mostly among African Americans, Asians, and some of Latin descent. (though other races have generally the same things, except they are called "hair extensions" since they are not woven into the head. Also, just to not, not all African American hair is slow growing, just so you know. My hair grows too fast and I have to cut it at lest once a week if I don't want a whole bunch everywhere lol

@Doughnight Convo- I like the items, no matter what we get, cause they're free lol. Though the lips are a bit creepy and I'd like to see a pet, or maybe more accessories. Idk

Well, mainly two things:

My favorite part of Christmas is gathering with my extended family (it is large) and eating Christmas dinner then exchanging presents on Christmas day.

As a Christian, my other favorite part is the family prayer we do in honor of Jesus. Although there isn't really any proof of what his birth date was, it is still a time to remember the birth of Jesus and celebrate the life he lived on Earth.

Christmas is different for every person, especially since not everyone celebrates Christmas: holidays such as Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and so on are celebrated in November/December (also the Chinese new year is a thing).

My family usually starts to put up Christmas decor and blah and making plans around the 18th, since our family is so large and we want to make sure that everyone is included. So we have an event we do on Christmas Eve called "Dirty Santa" and eat chicken, on Christmas day it's the large family dinner, and then the day after, on the 26th, my grandparents, their daughters, and myself stay the next morning to drink coffee and chat, watching the remaining highlights on parades and just enjoy being in each other's company.

Also since my dad and my mom were never married I have to Christmases, but my dad's side of the family is a whole another celebration and story lol

So does any tradition still do the "twelve days of Christmas" or is that mostly a historical curiosity at this point? And what's the thing with the early January christmas vs mid-late December christmas?

Akili: As for the 12 days of christmas, I'm not sure about others, but as kids we used to have advent calendars out here too? And Candles... But we hardly ever used them. We just know they exist... :mcheh:

So... it might still be practiced somewhere, but it's no longer common?

That makes more sense, with what I have read about.

I still don't understand the December-January thing, though. It seems most of the English-speaking world is all doing December? But many other languages use the January timing.
