When our cat Thor was at the pet hospital for a few days our cat Siris, who is his adopted Daddy, was depressed. He would just lay around moping. He barely wanted attention.

I don't think Doink knows what to do, so she bounces between depressive and maniac
But for an indoor kitten to get outside and disappear entirely...
