It really depends on the zoo. there is a lot that are just in it for the money, and don't care about the animals.

Well come to Omaha, our zoo is great! They love the animals. When I was younger they told me we would probably never get a cheetah because of lack of space, and now that they've expanded we have a cheetah or too! We saved a tigress, who lost a foot. But she's healthy and she's had a few cubs in the past.

Kofk earlier was telling me that it was down. It was weird.

you'd be surprised how many people come from out of stated to the STL Zoo not only is it one of the largest free zoos left in the country the exhibits are awesome. Penguin/Puffin Bears Big Cats Reptile house---more like reptile mansion the building is huge there's also the primate house as well elephants giraffes seals the peacocks even just get to walk around the whole area like the people

I've never been to the local one, but I've been to the Bronx Zoo a few times
Tho last time I was there, the zoo had a baby boom, without their intervention/help

oh god I'm in a bidding war for a hair on kofk

I'm always in a bidding war, I never win though.

I hate bidding wars ._.

youre absolutely right. There is no way to really generalize it. so i suppose ill say, im on the fence about zoos, and it really depends on how each specific zoo deals with everything they do. :P

i cant say i have often been in bidding wars, but maybe a few here. dont think I usually win though hahaa
