The one camp I went to for years didn't mind that I never really participated in the competitions (grand prize was a ten cent lollipop I didn't really like that you could get at the one store anyway) until my last year there. Then the camp counselors got pushy about it
Thankfully I got my summer job at the local theme park the next year so I couldn't go after that -rolls eyes-
But I doubt I would've gone after that year anyway
I've seen a handful of the workers (tho by then most had started working elsewhere) during the park's Kingdom Bound thing. I did creep out one at first with the "you seem familiar" line, though he relaxed entirely after I mentioned the camp

I went to a camp once. It was part of a program I was apart of. It was like high school. I was totally ostracized.
